What is the world coming to?

We who strive to eat organic and vegetarian, sworn montessorians, dreaming of living in a yurt, car-sharing hippies have a TV in our home! I know, I know, we said it wouldn't be done. We didn't buy it, I promise! A won it at work. He even beat another co-worker by one new account for the TV prize. We're both a little apprehensive about it. I like that we don't come home and flop on the couch with the boob-tube hypnotizing us everynight. I like that we read and talk in the evenings. It is pretty small, though. Only 17 inches. I think that we'll continue to use it as we do the computer: to watch movies. At least in our crazy tiny apartment there is no convenient place for it, so the TV will at least be out of the way. Plus, it's not at all in T's view range, so he'll have a hard time seeing it at all. One thing is for sure, though, it's going to be my new best friend next time I'm sick!

And, look at this! Our bedroom furniture is finally all here! You can't see it, but it looks pretty nice up in our 10'x8' bedroom. We don't have a lot of room to move around in there, for sure, but we got it all to fit. It's a whole set with two dressers and night stands and the bed frame. The finish pretty closely matches the existing woodwork in the room. Now all we need is a door and our dream will come true!

...oh, yeah, we're getting cable, he, he! It's only $3 more a month and it will double the speed of our internet service. If you have any recommendations for shows, let us know. Arrested Development is our current favorite comedy and we're almost finished with season 4 of Alias (thanks, Netflix!).
