End of Summer

Mema getting a ride from the little boys

I cannot believe that it is September already! I know people always say that summer ends so quickly, but shoot! We've really only had a one month break since our summer properly began on August first. Believe me, we've packed alot into those 31 days!

Now it's time to start thinking of school commuting and lunchboxes, fall yard chores, baking (!!!) and cleaning up the yard and house. To borrow a trick from our Sweet Auntie, here's a list of chores I hope to accomplish before the first freeze:

1. decide on a layout for raised beds in front
2. build raised beds
3. move bulbs around the yard
4. paint bedroom
5. remodel/fix basement bathroom
6. build a fence for the new chicks' coop

That's a long, expensive list. Wish me luck!
