I will be free!

In only 2 weeks, there will be no more schlepping ice cream! Two weeks, I can hardly wait. It felt so good to give my notice. I do feel a little sorry for the main decorator at the store who will have to pick up the slack, though. I am excited for the change. In the new place I'll be close to public transportation, a few parks and there are sidewalks and real neighborhoods to walk through. I'll just have to go out and make some friends. Maybe I'll join a reading group? I don't seem to have much luck with other moms (or women, in general!) in the playgroup setting. Any advice on how to make adult friends that does not include nudity or dark, smoky bars and late nights?
