Wind, shoes and stump grinding

We've been super boring lately, not doing much but keeping out of the wind that screams through the outer southeast. Our back fence even blew down and we had to have roofers out to fix missing shingles. I went shopping with my mom and sister and bought these super cute shoes (in black) for Jim Gaffigan. They make my size 8 1/2 feet look tiny and super cute! Mom was so excited about these that she bought them for herself. Luckily, we wear the same size, so I get to borrow them! I even bought a cute little shirt to go with them. Auntie A, am I making you jealous?

On friday, we saw the coolest thing ever: tree removal and stump grinding in our front yard! T stood, mesmerized, on a chair in my bedroom window all afternoon. He kept saying, "How cool is this!" Just as they were finishing and he was getting a little bored (he'd been watching for two hours), they brought in the stump grinder! First of all, it was a remote control, so that was super cool, then we had first row seats as they used a huge circular saw-type blade to grind the stump into saw dust. It was just on the other side of our living room window. I wish the pictures had turned out because it was super cool!
