Golf Ball fix

Someone has been eating eggs! It's not a person or a rodent, it's a chicken! One of the ladies has been pecking eggs. I suspect it's Georgie, but am not totally sure. I've thought about culling her from the flock (we have a friend of a friend who takes care of these things), but she's also the dominant chicken. I don't know if her absence from the flock would cause a big uproar. Hmm, maybe the farm store peeps can help...

In the meantime, folk wisdom on the internet seems to say golf balls in the nest can dissuade chickens from pecking eggs. We'll see.
